Come explore your inner shapes party self at this fun and expressive artist run workshop with exhibiting artist Micke Lindebergh.
Micke Lindebergh Drawing Party Workshop:
We will explore composition and balance between shapes and colour. A short introduction to my work process followed by looking at some fun examples from some inspiring artists that use colour and shapes that create perfect balance. We will do a series of simple and quick drawing exercises, looking at shapes and colour. The drawing exercises will lead to a collaborative shapes party drawing. I’ll have our final image printed as an A3 risoprint for everyone who participated.
The print can be picked up at the tribe the following week 🙂
All materials will be provided as well as some cheeky wine and light refreshments.
This workshop will take place on site at The Tribe. You can find us at 21 Foley Street, Darlinghurst – between Oxford and Burton, right on the corner of Crown.

The kids will have an interactive learning session with local youth artist Lili Llewellyn before illustrating their own interpretations. Lili will help and guide them to create inspired illustrations that they will then transform into tangible art using perler beads.
All materials are included in the ticket price and each child will get to take their artwork home with them.
FRIDAY 1st SEPT | 6:30-8:30pm | @ THE TRIBE
Picasso famously once said "Good artists copy, great artists steal".
Come join us for a night of stealing inspiration from one of the 'greats' to create your own, unique artwork to take home with you.
Each session we will enjoy the videos and teachings of a different artist who will act as mentor while the class drink wine and follow as much or as little of the given instructions as their imagination permits.
First up - Bob Ross.
"No pressure. Just relax and watch it happen."
Ross was an American painter, art instructor, and television host. He was the creator and host of The Joy of Painting, an instructional television program that aired from 1983 to 1994 on PBS in the United States. With a soft voice and a permed afro, Ross is as inspiring and nuturing as they come.
At this Bob Ross inspired night we will be attempting his famous wet on wet techniques with slow drying acylics and a lot of encouragment to go off script with fresh colours and added collage elements.
All canvases, paints, materials, instructions and nibbles are included in your ticket price.
There will also be complimentary wine for participants.
$35 a head with VERY limited spots available.
This workshop will take place on site at The Tribe. You can find us at 21 Foley Street, Darlinghurst - between Oxford and Burton, right on the corner of Crown.
